Bob Heil

Bob brings extensive experience to MTAG, both in understanding the challenges presented in managing large municipalities as well as the critical importance placed on consulting with clients on their assessment at risk and the impacts that shifts in tax policies have on revenue projections. His wide-reaching expertise touches every aspect of Assessment and Tax Management including most commercial and special purpose business properties.

With more than forty years of municipal management experience across a half dozen jurisdictions, most recently holding the position of Chief Administrative Officer for the City of Port Colborne, Bob's knowledge of and expertise in Ontario Tax Policy and Assessment Management is widely revered across the municipal community. Past careers as Senior Municipal Official at the Regional Municipality of Haldimand-Norfolk, Towns of Haldimand, Lincoln and Wainfleet Township combined with almost a decade in providing Assessment Management consulting to municipalities in private practice, Bob brings a wealth of professional knowledge and practical experience to MTAG.

Bob, a graduate of Brock University in Public Administration, has received a myriad of professional accreditations from a number of municipal associations and currently holds a license as a Paralegal from the Law Society of Upper Canada.
